Paper for Jewellery Boxes: Separate the Wrap, Board and Insert

Choosing between green and navy is a reasonable start for a ring box. One question needs to come first: is this material wrapping the outside, forming the structure, or touching the jewellery? A coordinated appearance does not make those functions interchangeable.

The wrap does not carry the whole structure

Discuss a wrapped jewellery box in three parts: the board structure, the exterior wrap and the insert. A pleasing exterior surface does not establish anti-tarnish behaviour or compatibility with every metal, gemstone or coating.

Evaluate the wrap on the actual construction, including corners, openings and seams. Any requirements for tarnish protection, odour or contact compatibility belong to the insert materials and complete packaging assessment. They cannot be inferred from an exterior paper’s colour or name.

Dark colours need not mean black

Mineral Green 26 with Champagne 11 can be explored with a green exterior and a lighter card or sleeve. Deep Navy 32 with Almond Taupe 07 gives care information its own lighter area. Merlot 22 is another candidate worth viewing beside the actual jewellery.

Place the piece, insert and paper samples together before selecting the logo finish. Champagne here is a colour name, not a promise of metallic effect. These are VANGLAM palette proposals, not claims to match a jewellery brand’s proprietary colour.

Trial the logo at the size it will be used

When there is little artwork, the sheet and a small logo carry much of the presentation. Approve the line detail, corners, foil choice and position at final size. A large artwork proof does not answer those questions.

HALO white pearl, SOFTSKIN coloured soft touch and VANGLAM’s colour references can help shortlist exterior papers. The purchase specification still needs the precise grade, format, required sides and approval sample. “Green jewellery paper” is not enough for repeatable ordering.

For jewellery-box wraps, share the box dimensions, board construction, insert direction and logo process. Keep the three component requirements distinct.
