Nine specialty paper series organised by white printing, colour, pearl, touch, texture, mirror gloss and fibre source — what each one is for and where to start sampling.
VANGLAM is QiLi Paper's specialty paper brand for brand packaging and print. It currently runs nine core series, and regular products are supplied from stock. This guide states only confirmed facts; grammage, sizes and converting suitability are confirmed for the selected paper.
What are the nine series?
IMPRINT: white printing papers in two routes. 素映 is an uncoated white card in 7 shades of white — full wood pulp, high stiffness, good folding, low ash. 细映 is a coated super-sense printing paper in high-white and natural-white for offset and digital.
PALETTE: 40 colours, 90% wood + 10% cotton pulp. Face and core share the same colour, so cut edges and tears stay on colour.
HALO: five white pearlescent papers — Glacial White, Prism White, Ivory Silk, Nacre White and Warm Porcelain — from high-white pearl to white metallic pearl.
CHROMA: colour combined with metallic pearl, currently 25 colours, with a fine, even sheen.
SOFTSKIN: soft-touch paper in two levels, Classic and Pro; Pro adds fingerprint, stain and abrasion resistance.
PEARLSKIN: soft-touch coating combined with ultra-fine pearl — a strong tactile feel with a car-paint-like sheen.
GRAINFORM: coloured full wood-pulp base papers, wet-embossed for crisp, well-held textures.
GLAZE (晶釉): a mirror, high-gloss, clear surface in 25 colours; water resistance covers brief surface contact only.
EARTH: recycled pulp, straw, coffee grounds, bagasse, bamboo, reed, water-hyacinth pulp and other fibre routes; fibres and ratios are confirmed per paper.
Which series should I start with?
Start from what the finished piece needs to say:
White tones and print fidelity: IMPRINT.
Brand colour, with edges and scores that never show white: PALETTE.
White sheen: HALO. Coloured sheen: CHROMA.
Touch: SOFTSKIN. Touch and sheen together: PEARLSKIN.
Texture: GRAINFORM. Mirror shine: GLAZE.
A fibre story for sustainability-led projects: EARTH.
Formats, custom runs and sample books
Reels in 787 and 889 mm widths, plus sheets; colour, weight, level and full sizes are confirmed by product and order. Custom runs start from 50,000 sheets (正度 format) — a custom threshold, not the MOQ for regular stock. Sample books are free; overseas shipping is paid by the recipient.
