How to Choose White Pearlescent Paper: Six HALO Directions
A bright photograph does not tell you whether a white pearlescent paper belongs in a particular pack. Start with the underlying white, then the light effect, and finally the printed and converted result. HALO offers six directions to compare physically.

Six directions, not six quality tiers
Glacial White has a cool white direction with a faint blue character. Prism White is described by its blue–gold interference effect; Ivory Silk by warm white and a delicate skin-like feel. Nacre White has a mother-of-pearl character, Warm Porcelain a creamy warm direction, and Silver White a fine silver-white effect.
The graphic is a guide to sample selection, not a simulation of the six optical responses. These names are not a ranking from ordinary to superior. Compare actual sheets under consistent viewing conditions.

After the blank sheet, check printing and sides
For an invitation, inspect both sides. For a box wrap, include wrapping and bonding. For image-heavy work, use the actual artwork rather than a demonstration sheet carrying only a small foil logo.
“Can this run digitally?” needs an equipment-specific answer. Provide the press, consumables or ink system, artwork and converting schedule. Compatibility belongs to the selected grade and production conditions, not to the word “pearlescent” in a catalogue.

Read the small specification details
Fedrigoni’s Sirio Pearl page specifically notes that the 110 g/m² version has a pearlescent finish on one side only. That is a useful reminder to read the exact specification rather than relying on the series name.[1]
HALO can be considered against a project brief, but a similar-looking sample is not proof of one-to-one equivalence with an imported grade. Choose the white direction first, then let the physical sheet and the finished trial decide.

When enquiring about HALO, specify the white direction, end use and printing process so the sample shortlist is relevant.
