Choosing a mirror-gloss paper: what GLAZE is for, and where its limits are
GLAZE (晶釉) is a mirror, high-gloss, clear surface in 25 colours. What it suits, what it does not, and how it differs from CHROMA pearl.

GLAZE (晶釉) is VANGLAM's mirror-gloss series: a mirror, high-gloss, clear surface, currently in 25 colours. It suits packaging and print that need strong reflection and a full colour field, but its water resistance has a clear limit.
What is confirmed about GLAZE?
A mirror, high-gloss, clear surface.
Currently 25 colours.
An even, fine surface with no particles.
Strong scratch, abrasion and tensile performance.
What is it not for?
GLAZE resists brief surface contact with water only. It is not for soaking and is not classed as wet-strength or wine-label material. For ice buckets, chilled condensation and other wet conditions, choose a wet-strength direction and test the real construction.
How is GLAZE different from CHROMA pearl?
Both come in 25 colours and both have sheen, but the effects differ: GLAZE is a mirror reflection, while CHROMA is a fine, even metallic pearl. If the design needs a surface bright enough to mirror the light source, look at GLAZE; if it needs a soft sheen that changes with the viewing angle, look at CHROMA. Sample both and compare them side by side.
What should a proof confirm?
Printing method, inks and drying conditions.
How foil stamping, debossing and other finishes behave on the mirror surface.
Rubbing in transit and handling of the finished piece.
Converting suitability is confirmed for the selected paper and the actual process. Sample books are free; overseas shipping is paid by the recipient.
