Can soft-touch paper be foil stamped without patchy or flaking foil?

Yes. SOFTSKIN Classic is printable and foil-stampable. The soft-touch coating is softer than an ordinary coated surface, so pressure, temperature and foil type need adjusting to the paper, and very small type is more likely to break up. If a varnish or lamination follows, foil is usually applied first. Foil on SOFTSKIN Pro and PEARLSKIN is confirmed by a proof on the selected grade.
