Should samples be retained after a repeat print run?

Retain traceable samples from the repeat run; memory of the previous job is not an acceptance reference. Identify the approved physical master, the new paper batch and the finished print separately. Record the grade, colour, batch, printing and finishing conditions, approval date and any corrective action. Review PALETTE colour, HALO lustre and SOFTSKIN surface feel according to the selected stock rather than one general judgement of consistency. If the stock, ink, equipment or processing sequence changes, reconfirm the affected checks. Agree sample quantities and retention periods for the project.
