Is recycled paper limited to a rough visual style?

Recycled origin does not prescribe a single visual style. Review the actual surface smoothness, colour, texture and printed result before choosing the artwork. Compare individual RECAST grades without assuming they are all grey or rough, or that every grade can reproduce the same demanding image. A useful project proof includes photographs, fine lines, small type and solid areas for the designer and printer to assess together. If foil, embossing or binding is involved, include it in the prototype. Treat the source description and the design performance as distinct questions, each supported by its own documentation or sample.
