Check the product scope and the specific transaction, rather than relying on a displayed supplier certificate. For FSC, verify the relevant certificate status, product category and the claim associated with the goods on sales or delivery documents. Identify the records needed for the project early, then reconcile them with the selected paper. A VANGLAM family name is not a certification claim: RECAST, FIELD and other series should not receive unverified labels. Keep the matching records in the designer’s project pack. Confirm the applicable conditions for certification marks and promotional wording before putting them into artwork.
