Do visible flecks prove that paper is recycled?
Flecks, a grey tone or a rough surface describe appearance; they do not establish recycled origin or content. Separate the visual brief from the evidence the project requires. FIELD is a natural-tone and natural-appearance direction. RECAST is the recycled-fibre direction, with source and proportion confirmed for the individual grade. Designers can compare physical samples for colour, fleck distribution and printed appearance while buyers check the material documentation and its version. Neither a photograph nor the name of a swatchbook proves the composition of the selected paper. Keep the visual reference and the source record together so that later artwork descriptions refer to the same grade.
