Can varnish or lamination results be promised on a textured paper?

No result should be promised before a process proof. Surface absorbency and texture depth can change varnish gloss, protection and film appearance, and printed and unprinted areas may respond differently. Trial the intended finish, coverage, foil and folding in the planned order, then approve it as a finished object. A prior sample does not automatically apply after a process or coverage change.
