Start by identifying what the film does in the original design. If the main aim is handfeel and a low-reflection appearance, SOFTSKIN can be included in the material comparison. If the pack also needs defined stain, rub or other protective performance, specify those requirements separately and check grade-specific evidence. Make candidate samples using the actual artwork and structure, then compare handling, opening, folding and the condition after the intended transport trial. Removing one operation does not automatically retain every function or establish easier recycling. Record the material, finishing, use requirements and approved sample together before deciding whether the change suits this project.
