Can paper be unwrapped and printed immediately on arrival?

Check the handling guidance for the specific grade before unwrapping or starting the press. Record the delivery batch, condition of the wrapping and differences between storage and pressroom conditions. The printer should confirm when the material is ready for production. Do not apply one waiting time to IMPRINT, HALO, SOFTSKIN and other surfaces. If moisture damage, wavy edges, curl or physical damage is visible, keep samples and photographs for review. Protect unused sheets again as required for that stock. Retain the opening time, any irregularities and the agreed response with the job record.
