Can one recycling report cover similar-looking stocks?
Start with the sample and scope actually assessed. The paper identity, composition, converting process and pack construction should correspond to the project; visual similarity is not a basis for extending a result. For RECAST or another material, retain the report version, sample description, assessment method and stated scope together. If the coating, adhesive, stock or structure changes, the party responsible for the assessment should decide whether the report remains applicable and whether further evidence is needed. Separate established evidence from pending items in the designer’s documentation. A result for one sample should not be rewritten as a recycling promise for an entire series or every packaging use.
