Edo Komon
A Japanese dyed paper with quiet tones and fine komon motifs, distinctly wa-styled.
Drawn from Japanese dye-paper craft, it carries fine motifs and graded tones that vary slightly sheet to sheet. It suits wa-styled packaging, tea sweets and cultural goods; avoid large four-colour areas and favour whitespace and single colour.
