Material Selector

The first VANGLAM Material Selector is rule-based, not algorithmic. It helps design and sourcing teams narrow a material brief through four visible steps: Application, Surface, Process and Result.

Website information supports early material selection. Final color, tactility and specification are confirmed by physical samples and project documents.

Step 1 - Application

Choose the application

Start with Wine & Spirits, Beauty & Fragrance, Bags, Invitation, Food or Digital so the paper discussion begins from a real packaging scenario.

Step 2 - Surface

Choose the surface direction

Select Tactile, Pearl, Embossing, Coated, Foil-UV or Functional to connect the visual intent with surface performance and production review.

Step 3 - Process

Choose the production process

Map the brief to Offset, Digital, Screen, Foil, Emboss or Die-cut so the material recommendation can be checked against real print and finishing routes.

Step 4 - Result

Recommended Collections, colors, surfaces and sample path

The output should include Recommended Collections, recommended colors, recommended surfaces, a gsm range, a Recommended Sample Kit and an Add to Samples action.
